  • Mike Stone - What a fantastic way to end the Lake Dunstan Trail. Andrew was awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time to show us the area and talk extensively about the things you can see and do. He stopped at the old miners cottage for us and allowed us the time to explore it. Absolutely the best way to get back to Cromwell after riding the trail. Highly recommended.
  • Katie Holton - Fabulous end to a fantastic day! Cycling the trail with NZ biketrails was SO great and then to have Andrew’s Lake Dunston trip was a highlight. He has tonnes of interesting knowledge to share. Make sure to get to the jetty early so you get a quick dip in the lake first 😊
  • Emily-Rose James - Awesome trip with Andrew who is very knowledgeable! Took the Lake Dunstan Explorer back after riding the trail. Highlights were seeing the pickaxe and seeing the submerged bridge on the sonar! Super awesome way to see the lake and the track and to learn about the area! Just gorgeous!
  • Lani Bebich Batterbury - This boat ride is an absolute must do after the Lake Dunstan cycle trail. It is the icing on the cake for a fantastic scenic day out. Andrew is an amazing boat skipper and an equally excellent tour guide for the journey back across the lake. Our family loved taking the boat back to Cromwell and we felt safe with our two young kids onboard. Thanks Andrew for such a lovely afternoon - in our eyes, this is the only way you should make the return journey.

  • Amy Nicholas - What an amazing experience! We rode the Dunstan Trail and then got picked up by the Dunstan Explorer in Clyde. No trouble for us to put our bikes onboard and cruise back to Cromwell. Such a fun boat ride and so cool to learn about the local history from the skipper. A really fun experience, I can't recommend enough!!! Thank you so much.
  • Tania Jack - Great ride on the Dunstan Explorer, and seeing the track from the water. Skipper was great at sharing really cool information. A great way to transport your own bikes....take a ride and check it out for yourselves!
