The Lake Dunstan Explorer

  • The Lake Dunstan Explorer is a purpose-built 24ft Stabicraft Pontoon Boat powered by a 250Hp Honda 4 Stroke outboard. It will comfortably seat 10 passengers with their bikes in a specially designed bike rack at the rear of the boat.
  • The Lake Dunstan Explorer is a commercially registered vessel and is licensed to carry 20 passengers including a skipper and has a full current Maritime NZ Survey. The trip from Clyde to Cromwell will take approximately 45 minutes at a comfortable cruising speed of around 20Kts.
  • Passengers disembark with their bikes at either McNulty Inlet Cromwell or the floating pontoons at Fruit Growers Road above the Clyde Dam.
